A very easy side dish, boiled cabbage with bacon is a simple combination of ingredients but packs loads of flavor.
How to cook cabbage with bacon. While bacon is cooking, cut the cabbage into large chunks (discard the core or save for stock!) and slice the onion into a julienne. Cook until crispy, remove bacon bits and save for later. Everything gets cooked together until the cabbage is wilted.
