This thawing process could take up to three hours for a roast. By the time i start the sous vide the meat should still be frozen. I am putting the frozen tri tip in the container with ice, and will start the cook this afternoon from work.

Place all other ingredients except the butter into the instant pot. Water cover tightly & cook on 350 until tender. To make a tender roast put it into your oven frozen, yes frozen.

Cook on high pressure for 30 minutes,. Sprinkle seasoning over the top and cover.*. Pour one cup of broth/water around the roast.

This one combines garlic powder and trader joe’s bbq rub. Place the roast into a freezer bag and refrigerate for one hour to marinate and thaw slightly. I cook all my roast from frozen i use the oven ,add 1 c.

It cooks up tasty and tender with a marinade. Heat the air fryer for about 10 minutes at 400 degrees so it is piping hot. Every 30 minutes, empty the pot and add more cold water.

Place the rack in the bottom of the pot and set the roast on top.
